The general urban plan of Chisinau was voted in the CMC

The roadmap for the General Urban Plan of Chisinau was voted in the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC). The document will be drafted free of charge by two companies from Russia and Romania and establishes the initiation of the process of elaboration of the Spatial Planning Plan of Chisinau municipality and of the general urban one, which will be carried out in several stages, Moldova 1 reports.

As stated by the general mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban, the cost of the Urban Plan is up to 20 million lei, money that the municipality does not currently have.

The last Urban Plan was elaborated in 2007, and at present it is no longer up to date.

The action plan was approved after receiving a positive opinion from the National Anticorruption Center, but also from the Intelligence and Security Service (SIS).

According to the municipality, the decision taken by CMC will also strengthen the capacity of the Chisinau Proiect municipal institution, as it will work together with experts from the two countries.
