The bridge on Mihai Viteazul Str. in Chisinau will be repaired

The bridge on Mihai Viteazul Str. in Chisinau will undergo major repairs. This was announced by the mayor Ion Ceban, during the City Hall meeting. The works will start in a month, and 108 million lei have been allocated for them. The designated contractor shall make all necessary preparations. The bridge on Ismail Str. also needs rehabilitation, the mayor stressed. The total value of the works is estimated at 2.9 million lei, Moldova 1 TV reports.

"The signed contract is worth 108 million lei, and the works will start within a month, during which the economic agent will make all the necessary preparations, planning the mobilization, relocation of engineering networks, then the works on the superstructure elements," said Ion Ceban.

The bridge on Ismail Str. is very popular in the city and was built in 1968. Since then it has never undergone repair work.
