Prosecutor General Eduard Harunjen will not resign on his own initiative
Prosecutor General Eduard Harunjen will not resign on his own initiative. Statements were made today after a hearing at the General Prosecutor's Office, Mesager reports.
Harunjen says there is not a legal base and a reason to resign and if he does so, this will be an example to prosecutors that an external influence might change things.
This is how the General Prosecutor commented for the press on the request of Prime Minister Maia Sandu and of the civil society representatives to resign.
