Republic of Moldova - 53rd in the Report "Global Cybersecurity Index"
Last year, the Republic of Moldova ranked 31st on the regional level and 53th overall in the "Global Cybersecurity Index" report, being among the countries that have developed complex commitments and engages in computer security, programs and initiatives, reports Radio Moldova News.
The index is focused on government policies and legislative structures of the European Union and is a reliable reference to measuring the countries' commitment to global cyber security in order to raise awareness of the importance and different dimensions of existing problems.
The Global Cyber Security Index combines 25 indicators at a single point of reference. The overall purpose of this index is to promote a global culture of cyber security and to integrate it into the center of information and communication technologies.
