Mobile application for drivers, launched

Moldovan drivers will be able to check the state of national roads thanks to a mobile application. Also, drivers will receive data on planned or ongoing works. The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure has developed an application where users can report irregularities on roads by uploading photos or videos, Mesager reports.

"Each of us will be able to check the route”,  said Economy and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici.

The app allows users to spot road irregularities, upload photos or video and inform about an accident. Once they have chosen the route, drivers will be informed about the state of the road and will be alerted if the section is snowed or blocked.

"All users who have access to the Telegram should  find ASD and automatically open the robot that you see on the screen. The robot is simple, make three or four clicks, location information, or let's see where the person is, select accident or blocked road ",  said Anatol Usatîi, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure.

Drivers say the new app will be of great help to them.

"That's very good, because you know what you're expecting, especially with our roads that you can not prevent anything, if you have a program on your phone." It is very convenient, so useful application. " "It's very useful because any new technology means something good for people. It's very useful for us", said the drivers.

The information will be permanently updated by the State Road Administration.
