Needlewomen, welders and doctors, the most sought-after specialists on the labor market. More than 9,500 jobs are currently vacant in the Republic of Moldova. Most are in Chisinau, over 3,800, followed by Bălţi, Cahul, Floresti and ATU Gagauzia. Data were provided by the National Agency for Employment, reports Moldova 1.
Most job vacancies are announced in the textile and clothing industry, where there are lacking nearly 2,144 needlewomen.
In the field of transport, 880 jobs are vacant, while industrial companies need more than 700 specialists.
Out of the total vacancies, only 20% are provided for people with higher education and specialist backgrounds. For vacancies offered, salaries are ranging between 2,000 and 30,000 lei.
