New dog houses for stray animals

New dog houses for stray animals in Chisinau. On a plot of over 800 square meters on Uzinelor str. in Chisinau, several dog houses for stray dogs will be temporarily set up. The representatives of “Regia Autosalubritate” claim that the construction works will last until the end of January, reports Mesager.

The new dog houses will be placed on this land which is managed by "Autosalubritate". In this area, 8 dog houses are being built.

Thus, the municipal authorities would try to solve the problem of stray dogs in the city.

Here the dogs will be vaccinated, sterilized and included in various adoption programs.

Chisinau residents welcome the new initiative. "It's much better. Some of them can find an owner”, "It's a right decision, they have to have their home, where they have to be supervised", say the people.

Currently, the Chisinau based necropolis hosts over 500 dogs.
