The Republic of Moldova won 17 medals at the WAKO Children, Cadet and Junior World Championship
The Republic of Moldova won six gold, three silver and eight bronze medals at the WAKO Children, Cadet and Junior World Championship, which took place in Italy, informs the National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOS).
Thus, Chiril Saprighin (42 kg), Vladislav Slav (51 kg), Artiom Slav (54 kg), Alexandru Cazacinschi (57 kg), Timur Parfentiev (63.5 kg) and Mihail Antoha (91 kg) became champions.
2,600 athletes from 63 countries participated in the World Championship. The Republic of Moldova was represented by 29 athletes.
