Farewell to the singer Iurie Sadovnic at the Church "Saint Theodora of Sihla"(VIDEO)

The corpse of the singer Iurie Sadovnic is in the "Saint Theodora de la Sihla" Church. Relatives, friends, colleagues, but also those who loved Iurie Sadovnic's creation came to say goodbye to the artist, Mesager reports.

The funeral ceremony will take place tomorrow, starting at 10:00, and at 12:00, a mourning meeting will be organized at the Central Cemetery in Chisinau.

The head of state, Maia Sandu, signed a decree declaring June 9 a national day of mourning in Moldova. Thus, tomorrow, the state flags will be lowered in the whole country, and at 12:00 the memory of the singer will be honored by keeping a moment of silence.

The funeral ceremony will be broadcast live by the Public Broadcaster "Teleradio-Moldova".

Iurie Sadovnic was a singer and composer of light music and a promoter of national and cultural values. For special merits in the field of music, the artist was awarded the title of People's Artist and Order of the Republic. The well-known light music singer Iurie Sadovnic died on June 7, after he allegedly shot himself in the head. The artist was 69 years old.
