More and more children addicted to mobile phones

A generation under pressure. More and more children can't imagine their lives without gadgets. It's just that we live in contradictory times, when on the one hand we are frightened by access to so much information, which is due to technology, but which can break them from reality, and on the other hand - we are glad that this way children can discover the world more easily, reports Moldova 1.

Olga Borisova is raising and educating a seven-year-old boy who has been holding the phone for too long.

"I work a lot and so as not to bother me, it happens that he exceeds one hour, staying longer, up to three hours sometimes. I don't think it's good, that this is an addiction and it makes him hysterical if I take it away," says Olga Borisova from Chisinau.

Children's development is rapid in the first five years of life. That is why parents should pay close attention to that period.

"The situation is very, very critical. Thinking does not develop where the gadget is, where the internet is. The memory, obviously, is in a total underdevelopment, we are not even talking about creativity. Communication and language disappears as an active and cumulative one," says Cornelia Bodorin, doctor in psychology.

According to experts, in order to get rid of gadgets, parents and children should spend more time outdoors. Also, common family activities are welcome, such as games, reading, cooking, museum visits, but also the involvement of children in extracurricular activities.
